At Scruffy to Fluffy Dog Spa it’s not just about making sure that your dog looks and smells great after each appointment, we want them to feel great too. We aim to develop a relationship with our customers so that we can work together to optimise and maintain your dog’s health and wellbeing, so they live their best lives and you can enjoy that with them too!

• We are committed to delivering consent-based grooming and we put the welfare, comfort and safety of all dogs in our care above anything else.
• We offer every dog exclusive use of the Spa with our closed door policy and, one-on-one sessions with the same groomer each time. We aim to keep sessions as low stress as possible for every dog . They are kept secure; they are not rushed and; they receive our undivided attention.
• We are officially the first ‘Dog Spa’ to open in Port Talbot! We offer lots of additional services such as facials, mud masks and specialist coat treatments that have potential health and wellbeing benefits for dogs.
• We use high quality products that are as kind and gentle on your dog as we are.
• We offer convenient online booking; with appointments available evenings and weekends, to suit your busy lifestyle.
• Our location is easy to get to and there is free parking within a minute’s walk. Enjoy some time to yourself or shop locally in Taibach whilst your dog is safe in our care.

We hope that our website is an informative resource for all pawrents. Before booking your first appointment we highly recommend that you read our “Advice and Tips” page that explains dog coat types and their general grooming needs and, our “Services and prices“ page. This information should help you make an informed choice about what package to book for your dog; particularly if you have a mixed breed dog, as each will have a unique mixed coat type.

You can directly book appointments for a range of dog breeds – from extra small to medium sized dogs – using our online booking system (which will display all appointments that are available for the package you are requesting).  

Appointment for large dogs are on request please and will be considered on an individual basis, so please contact us at contact@scruffytofluffydogspa.co.uk or message us privately on Facebook. We will let you know if we can accommodate your dog/breed and our availability for large  dog appointments. We may ask you to send us a photo of your dog or bring your large dog in to see us for a free consultation before agreeing an appointment for a large dog.

Before we meet each dog we look through their health questionnaire – which we ask you to complete at the time of booking their first appointment. We will also ask you a few extra questions when you arrive at the Spa; particularly on subsequent visits, just in case there have been any changes in your dog’s health and wellbeing since we saw them last. We will do our own assessment of your dog each time they visit us, by checking them over for any lumps or bumps, signs of infections or infestations and, identify any skin or coat issues that need our special attention at each and every appointment.
